Clear expectations before work begins

Terms & Conditions

RenovationKL.my — A product of GigoHome.my and DoorstepFix.my.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. Our Brand and Your Service Agreement

RenovationKL.my is a product of GigoHome.my and DoorstepFix.my. Renovation enquiries are coordinated through the shared GigoHome team.

Website operator: [OSMRENA EMPIRE , 202403284594 AND ].
Business address: [831 Plaza Sungai Besi 57100 KL].

These terms describe the general basis for website enquiries and services arranged through RenovationKL. The contracting service provider, agreed work and responsibilities must be identified in your quotation or service agreement before you confirm a project.

Your written project agreement matters.

Review the scope, materials, price, exclusions, payment stages and warranty before accepting. A specifically agreed project term takes priority over a conflicting general term here, subject to applicable law.

2. Enquiries and Booking Confirmation

Sending a website form or WhatsApp message is an enquiry. It does not automatically confirm a booking, start date or price. A booking is confirmed after the relevant service provider accepts the scope and the agreed booking requirements are completed.

Please provide accurate contact details, location, property type and information about the work. Let us know if you are acting on behalf of the owner, tenant, business or management body.

3. Assessments and Quotations

Prices discussed from photos or messages may be preliminary estimates. A site assessment may be required to confirm measurements, condition, access and materials.

Any inspection, travel or assessment fee must be communicated before the visit is accepted. Quotation validity, taxes where applicable, delivery and other charges should be stated in writing.

Only the items expressly included in the accepted quotation form part of the agreed work. Do not assume that replacement fixtures, electrical upgrades, debris removal or decorative finishes are included unless listed.

4. Materials and Changes to the Work

Material brands, specifications, colours and finishes should be confirmed where relevant. Significant substitutions require your agreement before use.

If you request additional work, or assessment reveals hidden defects, the service provider should explain the proposed change, additional cost and effect on timing. Obtain written agreement before additional chargeable work proceeds.

Work may be paused if an unexpected condition makes continuing unsafe or unsuitable. The issue and available next steps should be communicated promptly.

5. Deposits and Payments

Renovation projects may require a deposit or staged payments for materials, labour and progress. The applicable amounts and due dates are those in your accepted quotation.

“Pay after repair” arrangements associated with device repairs do not automatically apply to renovation projects.

Pay only to the account formally specified in your quotation or invoice. Verify any request to change payment details through the official GigoHome contact before transferring money. Keep your invoice and payment receipt.

6. Access, Permissions and Site Preparation

  • Confirm that you have authority to request the work and permit access to the property.
  • Share building management rules, permitted work hours, lift bookings and entry requirements before scheduling.
  • Agree who will obtain any required approvals or permits, and who will pay associated charges, before work begins.
  • Explain known defects, access restrictions and areas that must remain usable.
  • Agree arrangements for moving belongings, protecting surfaces, utilities and material storage.

These responsibilities do not remove the service provider’s duty to perform the agreed work with appropriate care.

7. Scheduling and Delays

Proposed completion dates depend on the agreed scope, access, material availability and necessary drying or curing periods. Any firm completion commitment must be recorded in writing.

If delays arise, the service provider should explain the reason, expected impact and revised arrangements. Changes to price or scope must be discussed separately rather than assumed.

8. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. The outcome depends on the agreed terms, work already performed and materials or services reasonably committed for your project.

Any proposed deduction from a refund should be explained and supported by the relevant costs or work completed. Deposits are not automatically non-refundable simply because a booking was made. Applicable statutory rights remain in place.

If the service provider cannot proceed, contact the GigoHome team to arrange an appropriate resolution, including repayment of amounts due for work or materials not supplied.

9. Completion and Defects

Review the completed work against the agreed scope and raise visible concerns promptly. Where necessary, record outstanding items and the proposed rectification arrangements in writing.

A handover acknowledgement or final payment does not remove rights relating to defects that were not reasonably apparent at handover or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Warranty

Workmanship warranty, if offered, is described in the accepted quotation. It should identify the covered work, duration, start date, exclusions and how to request assistance.

Product warranties depend on the relevant manufacturer or supplier. There is no single automatic warranty period for every service advertised on RenovationKL.my.

Report an issue with your job reference, description and photos. The cause should be assessed before deciding whether coverage applies. Written warranty terms do not replace statutory rights.

11. Contractors and Responsibility

A project may involve an assigned contractor or specialist team. Your quotation should identify the contracting provider and who is responsible for each part of the work.

Contact GigoHome if responsibilities are unclear. The involvement of a third-party contractor does not automatically exclude responsibilities that apply to the contracting provider under your agreement or applicable law.

12. Website Content and Project Images

Website descriptions provide general information. Illustrations labelled as concepts are not evidence of completed customer projects. Examples do not guarantee an identical result for a different property.

Do not copy or misuse branding, original content or images without permission from the relevant rights holder. Customer project information and identifiable images are handled according to our privacy notice and any agreed permissions.

13. Consumer Rights and Disputes

Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian law.

If you have a concern, contact us with your quotation or invoice reference and the resolution you are seeking. We will review the issue with the relevant service provider. You retain the right to use any competent consumer tribunal, regulator or court available under applicable law.

14. Updates and Contact

These terms may be revised for future enquiries and bookings. A website update does not by itself change the terms of an already accepted project agreement.
